Jared Mycyk enters this Binghamton Devils’ season having spent the last five years working as an assistant equipment manager in the AHL for the now Iowa Wild and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He has worked a combined total of 486 professional games. In 2017, he assisted in the eastern conference finals of the Stanley Cup Championship with the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the Ottawa Senators.
Prior to working in the AHL, Mycyk was head equipment manager from 2010-2012 for the Louisiana IceGators in the Southern Professional Hockey League, as well as the Mississippi RiverKings in the Central Hockey League. Mycuk got his start in hockey operations from Robert Morris University, where he was head equipment manager for the Division 1 men’s hockey, women’s hockey and the football teams from 2004-2010.
The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in both Sport Management and Marketing from Robert Morris University, where he graduated from in 2008.
