NEW JERSEY LOANS DALTON PROUT TO BINGHAMTON

BINGHAMTON, NY – The New Jersey Devils have loaned defenseman Dalton Prout to the Binghamton Devils after clearing waivers.
 
Prout, 27, has played in 242 regular-season games in the National Hockey League and has recorded 36 points (six goals, 30 assists) and 306 minutes in penalties. The Kingsville, Ontario native was originally drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the sixth round, 154th overall in 2010. 
 
Prout appeared in 14 games for New Jersey during the 2016-17 season and four games this season. The defenseman has appeared in 124 regular-season American Hockey League games for Springfield and Columbus.
